Junior Team Tennis (JTT) is our flagship youth program. Kids learn tennis fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, and routine-building skills that support both performance and wellbeing.

Located in north county San Diego, San Marcos Tennis Organization is a (501)(c)(3) non-profit tennis organization located in Southern California with the goal of promoting educational, physical, and social development to the community through organized tennis and educational activities. Based on the USTA’s Net Generation program, SMTO encourages young players to participate and develop a healthy competitive spirit in a fun and safe environment that focuses on personal integrity and leadership both on and off the tennis court.

San Marcos Tennis Organization exists to serve the future by keeping tennis within reach for the kids who would otherwise be left out. I know what it feels like to love this sport and still not be able to advance because the true cost of development was out of reach. Private lessons, tournaments, travel, and program fees add up fast. That gap ends dreams early, especially for underserved families, minorities, women and girls, and low income households. Your support helps us change that story by giving kids a real pathway to grow, compete, and belong.
When you donate, you are doing more than helping a child play. You are funding access, confidence, mentorship, and healthy habits that last far beyond the court. Your gift supports player scholarships, additional coaching staff, facility fees, and community events that bring families together and grow the game. It also provides essentials like tennis rackets, restringing, and equipment for players who cannot afford what they need to participate and progress.
Our scholarship program is designed to protect dignity and build community. To apply for a scholarship, a parent or guardian of an elementary or middle school player commits to volunteering as a team parent.
For high school players, students may volunteer in our other programs, or their parents may volunteer as team parents. This volunteer requirement allows us to serve more families, run programs with care, and keep the community strong while creating an earned sense of pride for every athlete who receives support.
